Moroccan fullback Achraf Hakimi has officially completed a deal to leave Real Madrid on loan to Borussia Dortmund for a period of two years.
Hakimi was a part of Morocco's World Cup squad that qualified for the tournament in Russia this summer and was eliminated in the group stage.
The 19-year-old is a graduate of Real Madrid's academy and made nine appearances for the first time in La Liga last season under Zinedine Zidane.
"Achraf Hakimi is a young, very dynamic full-back who has played at the very highest level with Real Madrid and the Morocco national team," Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said in a statement.
The loan is for two years with no mention of an option/obligation to buy.
