FT | France have reached the World Cup final! They send Belgium crashing out of the tournament in a tense semi-final. One goal from Samuel Umtiti is enough to send Les Bleus through to the final at the Luzhniki Stadium this Sunday.

'90+6 | Belgium might be on the verge of crashing out of this World Cup, Thibaut Courtois has been absolutely outstanding. He's pulled off another world-class save to deny Corentin Tolisso with an awesome reflex.

'90+3 | That should have been the second goal for France! Axel Witsel can't keep up with Antoine Griezmann's pace and the striker has all space to shoot from a Paul Pogba cross, but it's gathered by Courtois.

'90 | Not long left now... Belgium are piling men forward, but Didier Deschamp's tight defence has not allowed any opportunities in the second half. Will Les Bleus seal their ticket for the final in Moscow on Sunday without having to play extra time?

'86 | France are forced into another substitution. Blaise Matuidi collides and goes down looking pretty dizzy. He can't carry on and limps towards the sideline. Corentin Tolisso is on for the final minutes.

'84 | Didier Deschamps doesn't want to give anything away in the five minutes that remain in this game. Olivier Giroud is taken off after putting a lot of efforts into this game and he's replaced by Steven N'Zonzi.

'81 | Hugo Lloris has been pretty reliable tonight and he's refusing to to be beaten. Axel Witsel takes on a piledriver from distance, but he stings the goalkeepers fists. No-one's able to latch onto the rebound.

'79 | Belgium are absolutely furious with Uruguayan referee Andrés Cunha. Oivier Giroud fouls Eden Hazard on the edge of the penalty area and has to get a free kick, but it's not given by the man with the whistle.

'76 | Kevin de Bruyne has not played his best game, to say the least. He dribbles into a promising position and there's some space to take on a shot, but he sends the ball right into an orbit around earth.

'72 | If Belgium manage to keep this up, an equalizer looks pretty likely. Kevin de Bruyne bends in a cross from the right-hand side and Pogba surprises Lloris, but there's no Belgium player in the right place to punish it.

'69 | Twenty minutes left to play in Saint Petersburg and Belgium are putting the pressure on. They're forcing France to drop back, but they have been unlucky in the final third. Can they still get an equalizer?

'65 | Only millimetres away for Belgium there! Dries Mertens immediately makes his presence count with a sharp cross towards Marouane Fellaini, but his bullet header goes just wide of the target.

'63 | Eden Hazard has taken one for the team there! Kevin de Bruyne loses the ball and France breakaway in numbers, but with a professional foul the Chelsea striker breaks down the attack at the expense of a yellow card.

'60 | Roberto Martínez feels that he has to do something to turn this game back into Belgium's direction. He's taken off Moussa Dembélé and brings on Dries Mertens as an extra striker. Can he force a turnaround?

'57 | Unbelievable tekkers from Kylian Mbappé! With a stunning backheel he puts Olivier Giroud through on goal and the striker has to make it two, but one on one with Courtois he's denied by the goalkeeper.

'54 | France are looking to expand their lead and feel a bit more comfortable in this second half. Antoine Griezmann crosses the ball towards Olivier Giroud, but once again he's unable to get a clear header away.

'51 | GOAL! | France - Belgium 1-0. Umtiti! But pour Les Bleus! France have opened the scoring in the second half. A sharp corner kick falls for Samuel Umtiti, who jumps higher than Marouane Fellaini and heads the ball into the back of the net.

'47 | Belgium have picked up where they left off in the first half. Marouane Fellaini swings in an inviting cross and for the first time Romelu Lukaku gets in some threat on goal, but his header flies just over the bar.

HT | No goals, but plenty of excitement in Saint Petersburg. France and Belgium have both had their fair share of opportunitites and the game has floated up and down both ends of the pitch, but it's 0-0 at the interval.

'45+1 | All of a sudden Romelu Lukaku has missed a gilt-edged opportunity he never expected to get! Samuel Umtiti misjudges a De Bruyne cross and misses the ball. It drops right into Lukaku's path, but it comes off his chest and goes astray.

'43 | We're getting closer to the half time-whistle and Belgium will be more happy with that than France. Les Bleus are enjoying a very strong spell and they are hoping to take advantage of that by scoring the opening goal.

'40 | Thibaut Courtois has just pulled of a life-saving reflex once again! Benjamin Pavard is put through on goal and his shot would have gone right into the bottom corner, but Courtois sticks out a leg and parries it.

'38 | Some discomfort for Olivier Giroud. The French striker goes down after Moussa Dembélé steps on his heels. A long treatment is required, but after the medical staff has used their magical spray, he's able to play on.

'34 | All of a sudden the chances are coming for France. Antoine Griezmann plays a long ball over the top towards Mbappé, who perfectly squares it for Giroud. The striker has to score, but fails to make a perfect connection.

'33 | Antoine Griezmann has only scored three goals this World Cup, two from the penalty spot and one thanks to a huge howler from Muslera. Tonight he's hoping to show what he's worth, but his first shot from the edge of the area flies high into the stands.

'31 | That's the biggest chance France have had in this game. A free kick is laid off to Benjamin Pavard who whips it into the box and picks out Olivier Giroud, but his header flies inches wide of the Belgium goal.

'28 | It's one-way traffic at the Krestovskiy Stadium. Kevin de Bruyne flashes past Benjamin Pavard and drills in a low cross. Fellaini and Lukaku move towards the ball, but Umtiti is able to clear it just in time.

'24 | Belgium both impressed and stunned Brazil on Friday and there were doubts if they could put on a similar performance tonight, but so far they're doing just that. The only thing we're waiting for is a goal for Martínez' side.

'21 | Hugo Lloris to the rescue for the firs time! A corner kick is pulled back by Marouane Fellaini and Toby Alderwerireld is able to curl in an absolutely sizzling attempt, but Lloris somehow manages to fist is clear.

'19 | End-to-end stuff in Saint-Petersburg at the moment! Eden Hazard cuts inside from the left flank and unleashes a ferocious strike that would have nestled into the top corner if it wasn't for Varane, who makes a vital block with the head.

'18 | Kevin de Bruyne plays the ball just a little bit too far in front of him and he's dispossessed by Blaise Matuidi, who takes on a thundering shot to test Thibaut Courtois for the first time. Test passed for the Belgian glovesman.

'16 | Huge opportunity for Belgium to take the lead! Kevin de Bruyne exposes Raphaël Varane with a cheeky chipped pass to put Eden Hazard in the clear, but his low shot flies across the face of goal.

'13 | France are hoping to punish every tiny mistake from Belgium and they almost manage to do it for the first time. Pogba wins the ball and splits up the defence with a wonderful pass towards Mbappé, but Courtois comes off his line and throws himself on the ball.

'10 | Belgium enjoy an impressive spell of possession, but you can already see that it will be a hell of a job for the Red Devils to find a way through France's tight defence. Deschamps has got his organisation on point so far.

'6 | Eden Hazard put on an outstanding performance against Brazil in the quarter-finals and now he causes havoc inside the France box for the first time. Umtiti almost fires a low cross into his own net, but he's let off the hook.

'4 | After a strong start from the French, Belgium start to take control of possession. There's some space for Kevin de Bruyne to cross the ball towards Marouane Fellaini, but his delivery is slightly overhit.

'1 | Kylian Mbappé only needs 10 minutes to show his exceptional pace. The super talent paces past Jan Vertonghen and crosses the ball towards Antoine Griezmann, but the striker can't get his control right.

KICK-OFF | The first semi-final is underway and looking at the bookmakers, these are the two favourites to lift the World Cup at the Luzhniki Stadium this Sunday. Can Belgium produce more magic or will they be eliminated by the French machine?
