Keep up to date on the Premier League game between Brighton and Liverpool in our live blog.
FT | Game over at the Amex Stadium. Liverpool were far from impressive in this away game against Brighton, but Mo Salah's penalty just after half time is enough for them to pick up the three points and increase their lead on top of the table to seven points again.
'88 | That's an unfamiliar miss from Mo Salah. A James Milner cross is blocked by Martín Montoya and then crosses by Milner again as Mo Salah only has to tap it home, but somehow he prods it wide.
'87 | Spaces are starting to open up for Liverpool and they might exploit that with a second goal in the time that's left. Sadio Mané is put in the clear by Mo Salah and he breaks into space, but his shot goes wide off Lewis Dunk's leg.
'85 | We're into the closing stages of this match at the south coast and the win is getting closer and closer for Liverpool. It ertainly hasn't been their best game, but it might still be enough to do the job in this difficult game.
'81 | And that's another opportunity for Liverpool to get the business done with a second goal in this game. Mo Salah lays the ball off to Georginio Wijnaldum who doesn't have a lot of space but manages to unleash a shot, firing just wide.
'79 | That's close again for Brighton! Gaëtan Bong goes forward as he uses his pace to go past Trent Alexander-Arnold before swinging in a cross. Florin Andone sneaks in front of Virigil van Dijk, but pokes the ball into the side-netting.
'75 | Roberto Firmino dribbles forward and then produces an admirable acceleration that leaves a few Brighton defenders standing. After that he decides to have a go from just outside the box, but he's denied by David Button.
'73 | Liverpool have come through a busy period, but after today's game things actually get a bit easier for them. Next week they play Crystal Palace at home and after that game they've got two weeks off since they're out of the FA Cup already.
'68 | For the first time this afternoon Alisson is actually called into action. Brighton can't find a way through and Jurgen Locadia decides to have a decent go from distance, but his shot is parried by the Brazilian.
'66 | Brighton will have to try something to get back into this game and their coach Chris Hughton has decided to make a double substitution. Solly Marsh and Glenn Murray are taken off and they're replaced by Anthony Knockaert and Florin Andone.
'63 | If you want to be champions you have to win tough games like this and Liverpool are well on their way, but it has been a real snoozefest at the south coast. Chances and excitement have been very scarce so far.
'58 | That's the best possibility Brighton have created to score in this game. Solly March crosses the ball low from the right-hand side and it falls for Pascal Groß who wants to make up for his earlier mistake, but his shot is blocked by Fabinho.
'54 | Brighton will have to take more risks if they want to fight back but that's not happening yet. Liverpool are still pretty dominant as Alexander-Arnold sends in a dangerous low cross, but it's cleared away by Lewis Dunk.
'50 | GOAL! | Brighton - Liverpool 0-1. Salah! On a tough afternoon you need something like this to break the deadlock. Mo Salah leaves David Button no chance with a brilliantly taken penalty kick and it's 0-1 to the Reds. Things will get a lot easier for them from here.
'49 | PENALTY! | And that's even better from Mo Salah! The Egyptian walks past Pascal Groß inside the box and the German tries to get back at him with a foul and there's nothing left to do for referee Kevin Friend than put the ball on the spot.
'48 | We didn't see a lot of Mo Salah in the first half, but he has started the second part of this match significantly better. He breaks into space on the left-hand side and unleashes a powerful shot, but it's gathered by goalie David Button.
HT | And that's half time at the Amex Stadium. Liverpool have been struggling against a stubborn Brighton and Jürgen Klopp will have to come up with something of a plan to help his team to get the business done in the second half.
'43 | They have not done anything in attack themselves, but Brighton are luring for that one moment. A ball ricochets off Virgil van Dijk and almost drops nicely for Jurgen Locadia, but Alisson anticipates well and gathers it.
'39 | Brighton have done really well at home this season and they've shown that in their previous meetings with top-six sides. They managed to beat Man United (3-2) and they kept Arsenal on a 1-1 draw. The only top six-side that managed to win here is Chelsea (1-2).
'35 | Liverpool are slowly increasing the pressure, but they certainly haven't done enough so far. Sadio Mané swings in a cross that falls for captain Jordan Henderson, but Shane Duffy throws himself in the way of his header.
'32 | It's a third away game for Liverpool and the previous one didn't go completely to plan for Jürgen Klopp. He fielded a lot of second-choice players as Liverpool ended up slipping out of the FA Cup in the third round away at Wolves (2-1).
'27 | Chance for Liverpool! Trent Alexander-Arnold joins in on the attack and he whips the ball into the area, picking out the smallest man on the pitch. Xherdan Shaqiri gets a free header, but he can't direct it on target.
'23 | Halfway through the first half and so far there has been nothing to worry about for Brighton. Roberto Firmino loops the ball over the Brighton defence and Mo Salah tries to control it, but Gaëtan Bong defends in time.
'18 | This might not be good news for Liverpool. Their first choice right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold is limping a bit and he looks injured, as Jürgen Klopp has ordered James Milner to start his warm-up already.
'14 | No signs of an easy afternoon for Liverpool so far. Brighton try to attack themselves, but they have to allow a counter-attack as Mo Salah has a lot of space, but a pass towards Roberto Firmino is intercepted by Lewis Dunk.
'10 | That could have been the first really dangerous moment for Liverpool! Andy Robertson assists in the attacking third again and his delivery breaks nicely for Roberto Firmino, but he can't get a proper connection with the ball.
'8 | It looked as if Liverpool had quite a good chance of finishing this season as invincibles, but in their previous Premier League game they were finally beaten when they lost 2-1 away at Man City. Can they bounce back today?
'3 | Liverpool are looking to get dangerous right from the start. Andy Robertson crosses the ball into the box from the left-hand side and he's able to find Roberto Firmino, but the striker can't get his first touch right and Shane Duffy defends.
KICK-OFF | We're underway at the Amex Stadium as Liverpool are looking to get back to winning ways after two defeats on the bounce. They face quite a difficult game as they take on Brighton, who have done very well in their own stadium so far this season.
